Custom Sola Checkout for a Luxury Wig Brand

The Challenge

Shani Wigs sells custom, high-ticket wigs — pieces that cost thousands and are handmade in their Brooklyn atelier. Shopify’s default checkout and a generic payment page would undercut that experience. They also needed Sola for payment processing, with PCI-safe card handling so shoppers could pay with confidence.

The Solution

We built a custom branded Sola checkout overlaid on the store:

• Four-step flow — contact and address, freight, payment, then complete
• Tokenized card fields so payment details never sit on the store
• Encrypted-payment messaging, order recap, and edit-back so shoppers can review before they place the order

Results

Shoppers complete high-value orders in a checkout that matches the brand, with Sola processing and a flow built for this catalog — not a generic Shopify payment page.
